Services

For most adult pets, once a year is just right. If your pet is older or has ongoing health needs, twice a year helps us stay ahead of changes and keep their care plan current.

We’ll walk you through what we see, explain what it could mean, and talk about your options. We might recommend additional testing, a follow-up visit, or just keeping an eye on things. You’ll never be left guessing.

Absolutely! Shifts in mood, energy, or habits often stem from pain, discomfort, or changes in routine. These visits are the perfect time to bring it up so we can dig deeper.

We do. Many pets benefit from added support like chiropractic care or acupuncture, especially as they age or develop chronic conditions. We’re always happy to talk through options that go beyond the basics.

We understand your concern, and we take every safety measure seriously. We use current anesthetic protocols, perform pre-surgical screenings, and monitor your pet continuously during surgery to ensure their safety and comfort.

We’ll provide a detailed recovery guide before you head home. In general, keep an eye out for swelling, discharge, loss of appetite, or behavior changes. If anything feels off, call us—we’d rather hear from you early than too late.

We recommend an e-collar or a recovery suit to protect the surgical site. It may take some adjustment, but preventing licking is key to avoiding infection and speeding up healing.

Sometimes, yes. If your pet may benefit from something like chiropractic care or laser therapy instead of—or alongside—surgery, we’ll talk you through all the options. We’ll never push for surgery if there’s a gentler, effective path.

Recovery times vary depending on the procedure. Most pets feel like themselves within 7–14 days for routine surgeries, while orthopedic cases like TPLO require a longer, structured recovery. We’ll guide you through it every step of the way.

Yes. Bad breath is often the first sign of underlying dental disease. If their breath is consistently foul, it’s time for a dental exam.

To clean thoroughly and safely, we need your pet to be completely still and pain-free. Anesthesia allows us to clean beneath the gumline and take X-rays without stress or discomfort.

Most pets benefit from an annual cleaning, but some may need them more often depending on their age, breed, and oral health history. We’ll create a dental plan that fits your pet’s needs.

Many pets hide discomfort, but subtle changes, like chewing on one side, dropping food, or avoiding toys, can be red flags. Let us know if you’ve noticed anything new.

Absolutely! Daily brushing is ideal, but if that’s tricky, we can suggest effective alternatives like dental treats, rinses, or water additives to help reduce tartar buildup and freshen their breath.
